It is a good idea to join a work related network.  You don't have to go to lots of meetings but the newsletters and occasional seminar offerings are worth exploring.  We can get very insular and forget that the world of the public sector is huge and offers many more personal opportunities for developoment than can be imagined.  Here are a few we know about.   Send us more and we will add them to the list.
